Mike I think he means the number from when he previously owned it, from an old insurance form etc. If you know someone in law enforcement they may be able to help you. Depending where you live the right to privacy may not let you know who owns the car now. The upside is they may be able to tell you if it is still registered. At least you would know if it has been scrapped or still around. How long has it been since you owned it? I posted the information on the car a year ago, and did not get any responses.
