Do you need to drop the oil pan to take the timing chain cover off of a 454??

Thanks Tom. I was not sure if I would be able to get everything all sealed back up. I thought the oil pan and timing cover interlocked.

Because of the oil pan seal in timing cover it makes it hard to remove. Just remove the first 5 bolts on either side of the oil pan and loosen the next 5 and it should give you enough room to remove the timing cover.
