I have finally got back to my Biscayne. I think I have got most of the bugs worked out. I called today to see if there was a opening on the Dyno,no dice. I will call on Monday and try for next Saturday or a week night. I have put about 500 miles on the car so far. I is a blast to drive and seem real quick. The car pulls hard 3rd and 4th. I was at 7200rpm in 4th before I knew it.
My combo is a 468ci. Steel shaft, H-beam rods.10.7:1CR,Canfield 310's with 113 chambers. a UltraDyne mech rollers .251/.260 .630/.630lift,Isky Red Zone,Comp roller rockers, Victor JR, 850dp holley, 2" hookers with 3" out the back.
Any guesses as to what the power will be? I know there are some guy out there with a combo close to this. What should I take to the Dyno besides my carb box, tools and a note books. I know the owner of the shop. He had said he will help assist.
I know this is asked alot. I would like to buy a set of radials like M/T's or BFG's so I can drive it to the track. Would these be a wast of money? should I but a set of DOT slicks? The car has a 3.55 rear with a Richmond 6 speed. 3.27 first fith is a 1.23 so final in 4th is around 4.40. It is a tire spinning fool now from a rolling punch with 255/60's.
