I have a ford nine in my chevelle and I am having problems with the seals leaking. It has strange axles. The bearing and seal move about a 1/4 of an inch in and out. My question is does this need to be pressed all the way down with the collar. I don't know exactly where the grease is coming from but would guess that it is coming out as the seal and bearing move. Also I assume that the bearing needs some kind of preload on it so I figure that this is not helping things. HELP
