I've got a set of Stahl 1 7/8 primary headers for my Chevelle and have been trying to decide whether I should get them coated or sell them and buy a set of precoated headers. I've tried the spray paint route in the past with poor luck. This car will have a lot of detail work throughout so the headers should look good. I contacted Jethot awhile back and found they charge almost as much to coat as a new set of Dynomax would cost. Does anyone here know of a descent place to have this done at a reasonable price? Bob

JetHot is the place to use .. and you cant compare a set of Stahls to a set of Dyno Max's ...

I used a place called New Image Powder coating, they are in Youngstown Oh, & do Jet coating.. From what I have seen, they do a nicer job than Jet Hot, & are a little cheaper.. I think I paid like $300.00, if memory serves..

If you like, I could post their info in the morning...

Airborne $225, That's reasonable IMO. Thanks for the advice. It looks like they do powdercoating and engine parts coatings as well, Cool!
