I just got a call from the man who purchased my 70 SS 396. He has told me after an exhautive search of the car he found the build sheet in the upper portion of the rear seat. I am sooooooooo happy for this guy. I never doubted it being a real SS car as it was a Kanas built car and she does display the "L" on the trim tag.

Question, one of the codes on the sheet references a C56 Upper LVL? Anyone here have a clue as to it's meaning?

Thanks,
Gregg:hurray::hurray::hurray::beers::beers::beers: :hurray::hurray::hurray:

Thats on non-air cars where the outside comes out the dash vents at the corners, astro ventilation is the term they often used. 2 pull on the kick panels.

It's kind of interesting to note differences in broadcast sheet nomenclature from one factory to another. If it were a Baltimore built car, RPO C56 would have been noted as I/P SIDE VENT. Even the codes in the boxes in the upper half can sometimes vary from plant to plant for the same identical item.
