Race & Performance Expo Debuts in St. Charles
The first Race & Performance Expo will be held March 15 & 16, 2008 at the Pheasant Run Resort in St. Charles, Illinois. The Expo is billed as the biggest event of its type in the Midwest, and is open to the public. Be there early at 8:00 am Saturday, March 15 to witness Chicago motor sports history as special guest Vic Edelbrock Jr. cuts the ceremonial ribbon to open the weekend’s festivities.
The Race & Performance Expo includes high performance seminars and special displays by leading manufacturers like Edelbrock, Holley, Fast, MSD, Comp Cams and more. The seminars are free but the seating is limited.
The Expo will also hold a Hot Rodders of Tomorrow “Engine Challenge” which will pit six local high school and three area junior college auto technology classes against the clock to disassemble and then reassemble special ‘hot rod’ engines.
The Expo will also host one of the season’s first outdoor car show. Each day will be a separate show with 14 classes and trophies for the top three in each class. All cars and motorcycles are welcome to participate.
