Replaced the switch for the brake lights and only my 3rd one is working.
The bulbs are new and if I run a wire from the 3rd, the brake lights work but not the signal. The wire I ran is to the right side.
Their are 6 wires on the switch and only 2 have power, the other 4 don,t.
Anything else I can check before I take the car in.

Yes, check the flasher switch. Had a sunfire do the same thing and thats what it was.

How do I find that switch? Is it the one under the hood in the fuse panel.

Nooooooo.It's the emergency flasher switch, its the one on the steering column at least it was on my sunfire.

The brake lights route through that switch but the third brake light for some reason doesn't.

I agree with the flasher switch. It may be part of the directional switch as well. Just had a Buick Regal in my shop with same problem. Switch fixed it. In this car it was one unit with a harness and was like $400 from the dealer.
