I have the Tekonisha Prodigy. It works great for my F250 4X4 hauling a 18 ft. open trailer and a 71 Chevelle. I only have 1 axle braking now but the prodigy will work up to 4 axles so I have room to grow.
It's easy to adjust and has not needed an adjustment since I installed it in the Spring.
I found mine thru an internet trailer supply who's name I don't remember but I paid about $100 for it.
They can also be found on EBay but often sell for more than retail! Gary

I'm using the prodigy also. I put it in the truck, set it up and haven't had to adjust it or anything in a year. I think it was from Rjays performance with free shipping

I was going to buy a Prodigy till I found out one feature that bothered me. It's senses inertia and applies brake to the trailer based upon that inertia.

Let's say your towing in the rain and have to apply the brakes real hard in an emergency situation. Now, the truck goes into a slide and the inertia force diminishes and your trailer braking goes down as well...real long stop and could be enough to get in an accident.

I bought a Jordan Ultima 2020 brake controller. This controller does not hook into the trucks electric brake light circuit, rather attaches to the brake pedal by the means of a small cable. This will work great in a rain situation as the trailer gets brake power based upon pedal position, and not inertial forces.

Many of the RV towers on the Dodge boards rave about how well the Jordan worked and I have been very impressed with how it's working for me.

This is one of the dealers, or you can buy direct from Jordan which I believe is located in Florida...bought mine direct and even spoke with the owner of the company who designed the controller.

Another nice feature is the control box can be mounted at any angle, even upside down as long as it has a fairly short and straight shot for the cable to reach the brake pedal.
