: Wing window hardware

I have not touched my 66 SS396 restoration project in 4 years. I seemed to have misplaced the chrome hardware that mounts the wing window assembly to the door.

I set it aside to get re-chromed, but they seem to have disappeared.

Each door has (2) 1/4-20 bolt with no head markings, and a captive spring washer, and a 1/4-20 nut with a captive spring washer. Along with very thin plastic shims that go under the spring washers so they slide on the paint when adjusting instead of the edge of the spring washer digging into the paint.

Anyone know if these are repo'ed these days? If not, where can I get some cores?

Here is a pic that shows where the hardware goes:

Ok, I looked all morning in the basement and found the old hardware.

Here is a page from the Fisher Body manual showing the hardware in question:

I have 4 bolts. Only have 2 that are alike, the other 2 are different:

I have 2 of the bolts with the .75 OD captive washer, only one each of the other sizes.

If I remember correctly, on my car one of the doors had the bolt with 1.13 OD washer, the other side had a .75 OD washer on the bolt. The other ones came with some used wing window assemblies I bought from Sloans.

Here are the nuts. All of them used plastic shims to protect the paint, only the one shown survived.

If possible, could someone with a 66 SS396 that knows their hardware is original, measure what you have for the OD of the washer on the bolts and let me know? Should be able to open the door & measure...

I need to know what to re-chrome, and or what cores I need to find.
