Gentleman,

A while back when I was installing my bear track claws (13 inch front 12 rear) I called baers tech line and asked them what they recommended for proportioning valve they recommended that I plumb the front brakes directly from the master and run the rear line into an adjustable valve I bought and eliminate the factory stuff. I've been using it this way now for a while but I feel my car should stop better than it does and I want to make sure that my lack of prop valve is not causing me issues.

Thanks very much,

What is the function of the adjustable valve?

The adjustable valve is in line with the rear brakes to lower pressure if needed, figured with this kind of braking power i might need to prevent rear lock up. the fronts come right off the master to a T and piped direct no valves at all. I was expecting more braking force from this system. A hydroboost is going on order but I want to make sure everything is ok before I jump into that

Thanks again,
