Im looking to get an eaton posi and 3:73 gears. Where right now is the best place online to but a good set-up and what name brand as far as gears? I have a 72 malibu. Would it be a 28 or 30 spline? I guess it would be an 8.2 rearend?

i got mine from National Drivetrain.they had their Yukon gears on sale for 149.95 and they come with a lifetime warranty.not sure about your other questions.Randy's Ring&Pinion is another reasonably priced dealer.i havent installed anything yet so i cant attest to their quality.
