I see where exterior paint codes are listed on this sight but what about interior codes?

I was looking at a '69 Chevelle with parchment interior, bucket seats and, I believe, the code should be 791 but the trim tag said, I think it was 764? Is there somewhere listed all of the interior codes for Chevelles?

791 ~ Aff Parchment Coated Fabric (Black carpet, etc.)
(13637-67)

764 ~ Met. Dk. Blue Coated Fabric
(13636-46-67-80)

There several book and guides to help with interior codes. "Chevelle SS Restoration Guide" by Paul A. Herd is a good one. You can pick it up at just about any book store; Barnes and Noble or Borders. In this book, page 189 has the codes and combinations for '69 Chevelles. Looks like 764 was a dark blue bench and 791 was ivory bucket from '70. Hope this helps.

I'm Sorry. I wasn't aware of any inaccuracies. I just went by what I read. Can you point me in the right direction and a new, more accurate book. The last thing I want to do is give wrong info as well as believe it myself. I will be ever so greatfull. Thanks

OK, remember that I'm a '68 guy, so I can't vouch for other model years on a lot of stuff.
Example one; under AIR-"The AIR system was a mandatory option, RPO K 19, on all California SS 396s in 1966 and 1967, then as standard equipment from 1968 on. However, it could be deleted for the forty nine states."
First, IIRC, AIR was not a mandatory option for 325 HP automatic cars in '66 and '67. I know that '68 325 HP automatics didn't have AIR, and I know that it couldn't be deleted because that would be in violation of the Federal Clean Air Act.
Example two; the book lists '68 L34 automatic trans carb # as 7028216, it's really 7028218.
Example three; under 1968-1969 air cleaners, he says "nothing, including part numbers was changed in 1969, except when automatic transmission was ordered; then all engines used a closed-style assembly, part number 6484590. This assembly was similar to the one used on the L35 engine. It is recognizable by the thermo-mag unit on the snorkel."
Tell this to all the guys who have a '69 350 or 375 HP automatic car with an open air filter.
These three items were found in the first 33 pages of the book. I don't have the time to go through the entire tome and list the errors, but you should get the idea. ;)

You need the 1970 Assembly Manual, the chassis service manual, chassis overhaul manual, Fisher Body manual, and a good internet connection to this site.;) All of these books are available through the restoration suppliers (Ground Up, Year one, etc) or on ebay.
Use the search function on this site and if you can't find the answer by searching, then post a question. There's a lot of help available here.
