The engine is a 427ci big block chevy with a forged bottom end and brodix race rite cnc 290 heads. Comp ratio is 10.4. Rearend gear is 4.11 and the trans will be a tremec tko-600. The car will be street/strip not a race car but not a daily driver a pure hot rod. The car is a 1969 camaro. I was striving to get a min hp number of 550 with more power welcome. A roller cam application is wanted I already have Isky redzone lifters but I was thinking of the lunati 502A5 camshaft. Any suggestions? Thank you...

You may hae to pull off a spark plug wire to get 550 BHP with the 502A5. Even the 502A4 will make that, plus some. The 502A4 is usable as a daily driver, I had a customer with one in a 509 with a 3.9 rear, 3700 lbs, that would drive 125 miles to the dragstrip, run 11.10s on throttle, and drive back.
The 502A5 is an excellent cam, and usable on the street, but it is a race cam. The 502A4 is a hot street cam that can be raced.
Either one will work, the A5 will have the more radical idle.
