I replaced the gas tank in my '70. The old tank was leaking around the solder joint on the filler tube, and in a couple of places on the tank seam!

Is there any use for the old tank, or just take it down to the junk yard and give it to them?

If the tank is not hopelessly rusted otherwise,you could contact the Eastwood company for a stuff called,gastank sealer or something.you pour it into the tank,slosh it around and let it dry,and itīs supposed to seal all pinholes and cover all old inside rust.Try,URL:http://eastwoodco.com
