I have a 66' chevelle tach I was wanting to list on ebay. It's in fair condition. It has some pitting, nothing deep, mostly just dull spots in the chrome. The internals are really nice and cleaner than I expected. The colors for the redline have faded slightly. It is in working order, and is an original.(has the AC stamp inside)

I have never listed anything on ebay but I have been watching these go for up to 200-300 in really good condition.

Please let me know what you think. I don't own a 66 so I don't know what these go for or how hard they are to find. I am not wanting to make a fortune, but i would like enough to buy a different tach since I took it out of my 69'. Any insight on starting price, reserve or no reserve price, and buy it now price would be greatly appretiated.

Could bring anywhere from 75.00 to 250.00. Makes a difference on where it red lins too.

It has a 6k scale with a 5k redline. I was going to keep using it but thought someone else could use it in the right car. It was held to the column wth a hose clamp in my 69'.

I will be honest with you.... KK tachs for 66's USED to bring BIG money.. even when not tested and unsure if they worked... BUT.. Not any longer.. WHY? The Repro KK tach is pretty damm good.. LOOKS excellent and is not expensive... Very few people can look in a 66 from the outside ( say at a show ) and be able to tell it's a repro. In my honest opinion.. that said.. USED originals are not that sought after.. so.. I would do with it, what Ebay is is there for.. Let any one person decide what he/she will pay.. and as long as it didn't cost you anything to get this one.. you will be ahead of the game... IF you really want to know what is a Good price.. I'd ballpark it at $125.00 TOPS. Or maybe I should say, that is about all I would pay.
