I have power in the fuse box for the gauges but none of my gauges or clock/tach work. Should I pull the dash out to figure out the wiring instead of crawling up under? There are disconnected wires but I can't see very well where they go to on the backside of the dash.

Well the clock may not work. I would check to make sure all the connections in the engine bay are connected first. Has the dash been out before? Is the tach connected to the coil? Has the wiring been changed in the engine bay?

the only way you are ever going to figure it out is if you dig in and pull the dash out. its not to hard to do. make sure all your grounds are good while your at it.:beers:

Why? If the dash has never been out, Why would it be those connections? If it has been out then yes. But would check the other connections first, cause if they are not connected it still won't work. :noway:

you said you saw disconected wires behind the dash. only way to find out what they are is if you pull out the dash to get a better look. you can try to dink around with them with the dash in but you know as well as me its a pain in the rear trying to do anything under there. Did the gauges work and then just stop? you never said if they had worked before. there is a main power wire that feeds those gauges, it runs behind the dash and splits off at the tach, clock, and the gauges, i cant rememeber what color it is, but it sounds like something happend to that or your dash ground has been interupted

Well how about telling us the color of the wires that are disconnected. Where they are at. And if the dash has been out before. Let us know.

I see looking at your other posts that you asked about this back in sept-oct. Is this the same dash? Back Then you were talking about idiot lights, now you are talking gauges and tach. Need more info on what you have going on to help you.
