I installed the upper adj a arms about a year ago, the stage 2 kit. It lowered my front end about 1" which was all and good. my upper control arms would rest on the frame when up on the rack. Just recently installed the new lower control arms with 1/2" spacers in the spring pockets with stock springs and the front is now sitting an additional 1 1/2" lower for a total drop of 2 1/2". I need to get the front back up to where it was before. Do I change the ball joints back to stock? I also noticed that when the car is on the rack, the shock at full extenshion is holding the upper control arm off the frame by 1". Does this mean I need longer shocks? 1966 El Camino

Funny... That would be a quote in html speak, or 1 inch I'd guess...

I don't know what's with the quotes but I assure you I didn't type it that way. It may have to do with the new math.

if he used the " and " he would get a quote sign

That's what I did. When typing I always use " as the inch sign and ' for foot sign. I guess the forum's computer doesn't see it that way.

Looking at grabbing the spacers from speedway, but can't take the ugly purple springs. Prob order the the springs from somewhere else. I had HO racing springs before which I think were around 500lbs. Debating going 700# or 750# for a cruizer.
