Does anyone have pix of the way to correctly mount the larger bumper brackets to the frame and the bumper on 70 chevelles front and back. I thought it would be easy until I am staring at a bunch of brackets on the floor and trying to line them up in a postion.

To secure the bracket/bumper assembly to the frame, 4x3/4 inch nuts and bolts are used. Two of the bolts, the aft most on the brackets, which go through both of the bracket pieces, are split like a lock nut. The forward nut is plain. These attach nuts and bolts go through the 1st and 4th slots on the frame nose that slant backward and forward. Bolts go on brackets, nuts on frame. There is a lot of movement capability in the brackets to make the bumper fit correctly. On the forward top of the large bracket, the stainless head carraige bolts comes through and has an 11/16 inch nut. On the bottom front, regular black oxide bolts with 11/16 nuts attach to the bumper. Please excuse the rust on the pictures, I was removing the bumper assembly for a friend so he could get things started. Hope this helps.
