lately i have been really big into the idea of swapping a t56 in the velle, but being that its an automatic right and knowing i have no experience with manuals i need some guidance. especially since i have to run the hydraulics and everything... so has anyone done this or known someone who has. or possibly some links to a web page??? i have been searching for a couple of days and found nothing! TIA

Hey man, check out dabe92fb's 'garage sale' post in the classifieds on HPJ, he's selling his complete T56 setup from his '92 camaro, was bolted to an SBC. It wouldn't take much to get it to work in a chevelle. If I wasn't putting my cash into my new motor, I'd pick it up from him. His asking price is too high though, but I'm sure he'd come off it.

brian, yea thats what got me thinking about this whole swap. i thought it was a bit too high too, but i have been scouring the junkyards and stuff.
