I bought some AC Delco plugs, I think they require 35 gapped, are they gapped the same with HEI? Does Mallory or any of the HEI's require differently

I have a Mallory Unilite with Blaster II coil and gap mine at .035,,,I think you can go up to .045 and maybe .060 with HEI, but I wouldnt go over .045 myself.

Usually 45 with hei.

I've tried gaps between 035 and 055 with HEI's and never noticed a difference so I just gap them at 035 now to minimize the stress on the coil and wires.

I have always found .060 runs much better at part throttle with an HEI. Race only setups seem to work well either way but the smaller gap is easier to fire at high rpm.
