Hey guys, i have a favor to ask. Im about 2 days away from ordering my whole exahust kit. Im going with a 3 inch kit but i really would like to hear those dynomax race bullet mufflers. I heard they are incedibly loud at WOT. Im just really curious to what they sound at idol and with some gas. Would anyone want to do that Porche comercial for me. Call me and let me hear them???? Ill make the call if the long distance is a problem. If anyone is intrested send me an email> id really appreciate it if someone could help me out

Can't provide any sound but they are loud at idle. I wouldn't run them on the street. In fact, they are too loud for one of the strips around here that requires mufflers. The welded ovals are a lot quieter and will work on the street.

I may be askin for trouble but i want it to border on gettin hassled by the cops. Im sure when i get older ill want something a little more quiet but im 22 and want to have some fun

my friend had them on his chevelle, he mounted them on the headers ( well right after), and it sounded just as looud as open headers, it was sick, but i think he got rid of them and put the quieter dynomax's on.

I have them on my 72 with turn downs and it is pretty close to having open headers, I have a mild 350 (has a very slight lope to it) and when I accelerate it sounds like a race car. You can litterally hear me before you see me, I love the sound and so far have had no problems with the police, but I'm more in the country than the city and I don't do anything stupid like drive by a police officer and rev the motor at him. If you would want to hear my car I'm fine with it, I don't think it will give you an accurate example of how they sound in person though. I'm in Mount Airy, Maryland and we're on eastern times, I don't know how many hours difference there is between us.

I run the 4" Bullets on my Nova. It's a healthy 355 with BIG solid cam. 2&1/2" pipes, mufflers mounted under rear seat area, then over the axel, and dump in the stock spot behind the rear tire.

They are VERY loud, especially when you get on it. They don't have that rappy nasty glass pac sound, rather a low, loud rumble. At WOT, it's just about like open headers. They're only 12" long, and you can literally look right through them. And...they're only $31.00 a piece graemlins/hurray.gif
By the way, I'm 44 yrs old...and still like it loud :D
