Has anybody got any pics of a quarterstick in the factory console? I believe I've seen it done before but wanted to know if it cleared alright without cutting the console at all. For the guys that have them, do you like the shifter? Looking to upgrade from the factory shifter. Thanks in advance, Matt

I have my quarterstick mounted in my stock console. See here. (http://www.chevelles.com/showroom/10sec69/shifter.jpg) I had to mount it up off the floor about 3" in order to get it to come through the opening where I wanted it. It's a great shifter and has worked flawlessly for 13 years.

Thanks Jim, I was hoping somebody had done this. I was hoping to use the original holes that the original shifter mounts to, so I believe I could fab up a bracket to mount the shifter too since I'll need it that much off the floor. Thanks again, anybody else got any pics?

Matt I put a B&M pro stick in my 69 malibu 4spd console no problem. I made a plate to mount to floor using stock location the only hole I had to drill was for the cable 1".
