Motor Number Interpretation
Please help me with these numbers and what they mean.
Motor is a 454, thanks.
Rear Right 14015445,
Left Rear E26?82.....question mark was hard to read, it may be Z or / or 2 or space or a round blotch or nothing, there was definitely a space between the 6 & the 8.
Front right CCT130227.
Water pump # T 1 70 GM 139 698117X

Joey, the only info I have on that engine is that it was used in light trucks from 75-87.
E26 82 is May 26, 1982.
My book doesn't have the water pump number so it is probably a GM replacement part.

Not sure about the CCT code??? But the 445 block came in both 2 and 4 bolt forms. The 4 bolt versions were used in marine and LS6 crate motors in the early eighty's. I have a NOS 445 4 bolt block still in the original wood crate (see my member showroom). Mine has no deck stamp since it is a bare replacement block. The date code on mine is J 8 2. Oct 8th 1982. Mine was probably a marine replacement block due to the brass freeze plugs.
