Hey all. I need to know what the total width is at the widest point for a '70. I'm trying to see if it will fit in my driveway along with my wife's car. BIG selling point to me getting it! LOL. Need info ASAP.

I have no idea how wide a '70 Chevelle is, but I say clean out the garage, or put whatever vehicle is currently in it outside...... problem solved! :thumbsup:

Nothing official, but I'd measure about 76" at the wide part of the fenders. There's gotta be something on this site already with the "official" width of a '70

LOL. The "clean out garage" tactic doesn't work with 30+ years of crap from in-laws. I've searched for the width all over here and the net.
-Xtreme70: thanks for the estimate! That gets me in the ballpark then. Just found an all original Malibu over in Burbank (I'm near L.A.,CA). $9,500 and needs body work but 80k original miles supposedly. Just gotta sell my existing car to get it!

Does anyone know how to rebuild the factory a/c? It's missing the belt and I don't know if any other parts are missing.

It'll fit. If not do what I did after I bought the Sprint and have the wife park in the grass. Yeah, that didn't last long...

I have 3 cars (incl the Chevelle), my truck , a car trailer, a parts car, a Waverunner, and it's trailer, and a house, all on a 48 by 80 ft lot!

The other 7 cars, the boat and my tractor are at my wifes house.

Dang, my calibrated eyeball must be off by .6". Maybe if I got LASIK. ;)
