I wasn't initially going to upgrade mine, seeing as the only two reasons are added strength, or to lower your car more, but I'm feeling that desire to do it right the first time. I really like the SC&C lca's but I don't want to drop the front end anymore. So far I've got the ATX spindles, tall upper/lower balljoints, SPC adj. upper control arms along with Eibach 1.3in lowering springs, already the car will be sitting an easy 2 inches lower, so anything more would be unwanted. Are there any "cheap" aftermarket LCA's to replace the stockers that you guys recommend? Cheap being 500ish, its hard to justify $800 bucks on the SC&C's haha.

The LCA's I bought from Mark were $549 shipped to my door. Maybe you should see if you can exchange the Eibach springs for a stock height pair.

I am pretty sure that mark includes or at least sells a rubber spring insulator that would negate the lowering effect of the lower control arms.

The SPC LCAs have adj. ride height and are $549pr. We also have thick urethane spring isolators for the top of the springs to add another 1/2"-5/8" of ride height if you don`t want it too low. We`re working on more lower seat inserts for the SPC arms to allow an even larger range of adj. and more tuning options but the std. configuration works well too. Mark SC&C

Anything for coil overs Mark? Mine are basically not adjustable in the car anymore with the spacer and the 675lb spring - just too much pressure even with the thrust bearing.

Mike-
I meant to post this in the "install tips" thread but found this one first.

I finally got my 650lb. springs and homegrown 1.25" spacers installed, and yes they were pretty tough to turn toward the end.

Anyway I had a couple tricks that helped:
1. My spanner wrench was "bumping" into various parts of the car when I tried turning it (LCAs mostly but also the tie rod) and kept my from getting a good grip/leverage on the adjuster. So I stuck the wrench in a vice and bent it a couple times, thereby fashioning on offset spanner wrench. Since I also bought rear coilovers, I wound up receiving two wrenches. This was cool becuase I was able to bend the two wrenches in opposite directions and have two different offsets.
2. A short (~8") section of pipe on the end of the spanner wrench made gripping it 100X easier and allowed me to turn the adjuster as much as I needed. Yeah, it was tough atthe end, but all adjusting was done in the car (but with the car's weight not on the suspension).
Hope this helps.
:beers:

Thank's Nelson - Just make sure the spring doesn't spin when you tighten them - if it does, you will likely unscrew the shaft from it's retainer. I spent an hour trying to get one side aligned today - still have too much caster (+7), I'm hoping to get back out there tonight and get it right. I'm still thinking I need new front wheels and tires.

The spring did spin, even with the thrust bearing. But fortunately somebody pre-warned me:D. But, I made sure the shaft was tight to the frame first, though.
