I was just thinking, and a with say a 2.5" exhaust system if you have a well made x-pipe in it, your exhaust after the x-pipe is now TWO 2.5" pipes!? Isn't this correct? So instead of being just 4.91 sqaure inches it's 9.82 sqaure inches. A single 3" pipe is only 7.1 sqaure inches! It almost seem's like it would make sense to run 3" up to the x-pipe, than run 2.5" for the x-pipe and beyond. What do ya think?
