I am getting ready to make a sign for an upcoming show and want to put down 1 of ________ 1969 with buckets and no console. I think there were only like 8,000 bucket cars without the console. Can someone help me with that figure? Thanks.........
79,871 had the A51 bucket seat option and 72,201 had the D55 console option, so 7,670 had buckets with no console.

Jim,
Sorry I don't believe my book includes El Caminos.

Sorry, no. My book just has option totals. I doubt if records exist for the info you're looking for.

To clarify for people, There are sources that indicate how many of each option were producedinstalled (such as the above "79,871 with buckets" in 1969), BUT there are no known sources that link options or combos for various options...
Obviously, with bucket seats there were only 2 choices, console or no console, so we can reasonably extrapolate the info...
But we don't know how many of those bucket seat cars were "SS", were 6-cylinder, were convertibles or El Caminos... Or how many "bucket/no console" were column shifted auto, column-shifted manual or floor shift...
It isn't even known how many consoles were 4-speed and how many were automatic...
