i have had this car for 15 years.looks like it may getting close to it's turn.i would like to put it back in it's orig colors.here's the numbers:

when i bought this car it was white with light blue interior,bench seat,AT on column. it had a 327 built nov.18,1964.intake,heads(461),and block are all within 2 weeks of each other.12 bolt with 3.36's.a/c,tinted glass,power brakes,and 14" ralley's.

It's impossible to tell you if the engine is original without a POP or other documentation. Although the 12 bolt rear (if original) was used on 327s only in that year. If your looking to sell the engine let me know. :thumbsup:

actually, 5O is seat belt delete. did get exterior chrome out of the little cowl tags book?

Hmmm...I've got that little book you're referring to and it says exterior chrome. Front seat belts were standard. In my GM Resto kit it lists interior regular equipment and under "Seat belts", it lists "front" for "All" (series). The "BODY OPTIONS" list has a seat belt delete. You think it could it be the code for a front seat belt delete?

I have confirmed it for fullsize and I know it has been confirmed for Corvair for 1965. That little book I have to and it has some errors with the cowl tag codes.

Does the car have seat belts or not??
