Does a 68 steering wheel has the letters "SS" on it? What would be a fair price to pay for it?

I believe the 68 steering wheel for the Chevelle SS actually was "ss396" not just SS. The SS only was on the Camaro and maybe fullsize cars. I have seen them in good shape for $30-90 complete and don't have any cracks. (sometimes people want more for the black ones). Hope this helps.

The full size (Impala) used a small emblem that said Super Sport.

The 1968 steering wheels are the same whether it's an SS or Impala or Chevelle. They just had a different emblem bolted on like, Impala, Malibu, etc.
