Hello all:
My question is when you have the MSD Boost control (pn 8762) hooked up but dont have the control knob hooked up where would it be set at
0-1-2-or 3 degrees retarded per pound of boost?
I ask because the wires off the knob are kinda messed up and needs a new connector.

its usally retards 5degress of timing per each setting.1-5 retard
2-10 retard
3-15retard

See I dont have the adjustable knob hooked up because the connector is messed up. so I am wondering what it is pre set at with out the adjustable knob on it. I am kinda hoping it is pre set to retard the timing 3 degrees per pound of boost if not i will just have to get the new connector sooner.

if you dont have the adjustment control plugged it wont retard the timing at all. There is no preset amount.
