Is there a source that has production #s broken down by color. I have an orange '69 and think this is kinda rare. Any help is appreciated.

There is no current source known that has the 69 colors broken down by production. FWIW Andy

Hey Sdun, did you buy your car at Decatur on Saturday? If so, you have a very nice car. Paint code 72 is Monaco orange, an SS only color, which verifies your car as an SS, just like Daytona Yellow, also an SS color only. These are the only two colors that were exclusive to the SS 396 cars in 1969.
All in all, 72 is a fairly rare color, though there are no records that would show this.

They look really good with a white strip;)
