Generally anything from a week to a month is considered reasonable although anything out to 3 months has been known to be acceptable.

so is that before or after the car was built?

so is that before or after the car was built? They would need a completed engine to build the car. I would say before.

so is that before or after the car was built? How could the car be built and run off the assembly line without the engine, or anything else?

I could see a salesman now.... "Did you want a motor and transmission with your new car or are you going to push it? Tires? You did not say anything about tires. But since I like you I can make you a great deal on a slightly used set. Trust me! Would I lie to you?"

... or how 'bout "buy the car now and return in a few weeks, we should have the engine for you by then". :D

Oh, Dale "yes the new format of your website is a little easier to follow even though I thought that the old format was just fine"
