Chevy fan attic Feb 24th, 08, 8:01 PM I am gonna have to go with # 1
1badss396 Feb 24th, 08, 8:48 PM The top one #1  I dont know what the bottom one goes to?
Whats wierd is your #1 zbar has 2 holes in the clutch rod adjuster. Mine only has just 1 hole.
Bowtie70ss Feb 24th, 08, 9:10 PM Z bar #1, #2 looks like a 70-81 Camaro/Firebird
LateNight72 Feb 25th, 08, 4:26 AM If you need any more confirmation.. :D
#1
Finally Feb 25th, 08, 7:42 PM The one on my 70 has 2 holes in the lower arm. It also has a straight shaft and offset in the upper arm like #1, but it also has a smaller offset in the lower arm just above the holes. Don't think that offset would make much difference since it's not even the thickness of the arm itself, less than 1/4".

Smittie Feb 26th, 08, 10:14 AM According to my assembly manual the upper hole is for adjusting purposes - the manual calls for all slack to be taken out of the adjustment when the pin is in the upper hole, then to move the adjuster to the lower hole and this will give you a starting point for adjustment.
