Not sure of the production numbers, but the post is a rarer specimen.

not necessarily, depends on the drivetrain and hardtop model (300,300DX,Malibu):)

300- 6 cyl. 11,468 - of these 67 were export
300- 8 cyl. 2135 - of these 15 were export

300 deluxe- 6 cyl. 9,176 -384 export
300 deluxe- 8 cyl. 3005 - 38 export

total production 25,784


Malibu sport coupes(not SS) 6 & 8 cyl. -156,167 --2,553 export

More rare, I would say so!:D

Of course, Just because they are more "rare" does NOT mean they are more desireable OR more valuable... Just harder to find parts for...

IMO, a 2-door post will never be more valuable than a similar 2-door hardtop...
And typically worth alot less... You don't see alot around for sale, but from what I have seen, I'd say "typically" 1/2 to 1/3 of the price of a 2-door Hardtop for a decent project car...

Not as sporty and not as big of a following, and can't turn it into a realistic "clone"...

IMO, they do look great as a "stock" Big Block stripper... A car that should have been built by GM...
