I have a set of 1961 power pack heads that I know came from a vette. I don't have the numbers with me now but I've seen them listed as HiPo heads. Is there a market for them with vette people or are they just shop clutter?

61 327 heads are not in demand. Get the date and casting number, and PM me and I can tell you.

1961 should still be worth some money. 1962 and later 283 heads, then no due to the fact that the Vette used a 327 in '62 to replace the 283.

Once you get the casting number and date codes, check the NCRS website. You should be able to find a buyer there. I find the site a little bit on the user unfriendly side but when you type with two fingers.. well anyway. Don't toss them!

They are 692's with L299 and A130 date codes.

For the pair. But I don't know the current value. They could have gone up from several years ago. I'd call one of the big Vette parts vendors in Hemmings and ask them what they get for a pair. Don't tell them you are trying to price yours.
