Does anyone know which seat belt retractor is correct? Maybe they both are (I think they are both original)?

Before you guys go :clonk: Let me tell you that the Malibu seats were changed from bench to buckets. ;)

I could be mistaken, but I don't believe the retractors in the bottom photo were available in Chevelles before the 1967 model year. I have seen them in some 1966 full size Chevrolet's (impalas caprices, etc), but not Chevelles.

I think the ones in the top photo are the ticket for your ride. :)

Agree with Rich, etal. I'd keep the top one for the show car but maybe the 67 style for the daily driver seeing as how they're a little cleaner and maybe less prone to getting tangled up with daily use. Looks like a couple of pretty nice rides!

Thanx for your input guys. Like they say "you learn somthin' everyday".
The Bu is my brother-in-law's (clean car)
The SS is my daily driver (needs some TLC)
