anyone ever heard of making a stock engine look as if it had a blower on it. i know they sell the air filter with the three butterfly openings that resembles the air filter the drag cars have which i am going to buy in the near future but i am talking about the thick belt, the pullies, etc.

the reason i dont put a real blower is cause i like driving my car and i dont want to be putting gas everyday but i still would like to get the attention as if i did have a blower.

Years ago, I saw a car (street rod) with an old 6-71 blower case mounted on the engine with no internals mounted over the carb (the carb was inside the blower housing). You can get an old worn out 6-71 or 4-71 case for an inexpensive amount and do this for show. To me, it may not be worth the time and money involved to purchase and install the pulleys and everything else that will be involved including having to go to electric fans and custom accessory brackets. But then again, it's your choice.

There is a transvestite around here that has a fake blower on his car, and when he/it goes to car shows he spends hours polishing it. Quite the pair.

put a big fat wing on the back and some stickers while you're at it too. a fake blower is about as "domestic rice" as you can get. blech...

C'mon, you guys don't have any place to judge what he wants to do. It's his car!

The only thing I have to say is this: Build your car for your own satisfaction , not to get attention from others. If that is your goal, do a burnout in the middle of the street. You'll get plenty of attention that way.

I know there's a plastic surgeon in Los Angeles that will install silicone biceps in men's arms for those guys that want to look buff but don't actually want to go work out and lift weights.
