Is there any place that sells a smog equipment kit or original smog systems for a 1970 chevelle 454. Ground up dont sell the kit yet just curious if anyone else does?

There is also a guy who advertises in Hemmings, I've forgotten his name. Be prepared to spend $1000 or more for a complete system.

The company name "ASL" rings a bell. I think they were in Sparks, Nevada. I'm not sure if they are still around.

ASL company is long gone. Another good choice for a smog system is Bill Hodel in Massillon Ohio. He supplies either completely original systems or look-a-like systems for those looking for a system that looks correct but aren't real concerned about numbers and date codes. You can PM me if you want his contact info, but you should be able to find his ads in Hemmings as he usually advertises there.

I can't say for sure when ........ but I do believe that one day WE ALL are going to have to have the correct smog stuff for our cars :eek: its a wise man who seeks it out while it is still available :thumbsup:
