A friend of mine has these aluminum heads that he got at an estate auction. The #14011077 is on both heads. The #112253 is on one head and the #112719 is on the other. These heads also have the Winters foundry stamp on them. I dont see any GM markings on them. Can anybody tell me what these are? Thanks in advance.

This is the old "077" chevy open chamber Aluminum head used on the L-88s and the ZL-1 motors. It is pretty outdated but runs pretty good, has a better exhaust port than the iron versions but is extremely soft. All the newer castings have better metalurgy and better combustion chambers.

I like the 077 290cc intake runners and an excellent exhaust port. For a non dead kill race motor they work fine. It was never a probuction head always over the counter.
