I have a 66 Malibu with a small block/power glide. Plan to upgrade to big block/TH400 eventuley but now there is no kick down linkage. Discovered this after I purchased the car. Assembley manual showes mechanical linkage but I can't find any replacement parts at any of the restoration web stores. Anybody have any sugestions or old linkage I can buy? Car runs good but does not jump when I stomp on it.

Too find the whole PG kickdown linckage complete is nearly impossible IMHO.
Locar has an excelent cable unit.
You may want to consider fixing the throttle linkage and return spring assembly while your at it. Since they all work together.
