X-Pipes...
I understand the function of an X-Pipe...
But is there a science in regards to how the 2 pipes are merged...?
For instance: I had my exhaust guy weld up an x-pipe for me. I could tell from the placement of the pipes that it wasn't exact... or even close.
When my engine is complete and installed I want to get a new exhaust system to support it better. I plan on my 1-5/8" headers, 3" collector, 3" x-pipe, 2-1/2" tails, and some super turbos. Should I get my muffler guy to weld up another x-pipe for my new configuration, or should I get the hedman hedders x-pipe (it looks really clean and even... page 66 of the new summit racing catalog)?
