I've never used it - how hard/easy is it to set up two XP PCs? I have XP Pro and sister-in-law has (I believe) XP Home. She frequently messes up her desktop and calls for help. Many times I can help verbally but it'd be easier to connect to her machine, take control of it and just fix it.

Will Remote Access through Windows Messenger work? I found this (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb457004.aspx) on Microsoft's XP Techcenter site. Can it be this easy? We're about 600 miles apart, different ISPs, etc. but both have cable-type connections.

Dale it works great it just takes a while to st it up and once you get it going it works excellent. I do my wifes computers at her office from home saves me 20 mile drive. Also since I am on hughes net I can DL any thing over 650 meg in 1 hour so I login her computer from home and download it remote and I also burn it to CD all done remote, the only time it messes up if she forgets to put in a blank cd for me before she leaves her office, LOL

Oh yea the best part is when she is on her computer and I login at the same time I can watch what she is doing and really mess with her, HEHEHEE:D
