Well, Jason Rushforth has done it again... and just nailed the rendering of my 66 Chevelle. The 'Hell on Wheels' word play works well, because that's what we do... custom wheels. This is a great example of how much good a "face lift" [read: wheels, stance, graphics, etc] can do for an otherwise bland, plain jane chevelle. Now the car's exterior will match it's attitude and performance upgrades.

Car goes into paint next week for the silver stripe, orange pinstripe, and airbrush work.

Do you have any tunnel to driveshaft clearance problems?

To each there own, but personally, I'd leave it the solid color it is now. That looks awesome! Almost kind of evil, between the wheels, stance and paint color. Not sure the stripes and other graphics will help it, IMO. Fill the emblem holes and shave the door handles and it would look spectacular!

Gotta fix that left fender bowing out, sorry but it sticks out too much for me. Looks sick though....

Do you have any total side view shots of that 66 chevelle? I'm trying to decide what size wheels to buy for my 66 and would like to see how those19/20's look. What are prices on those wheels?

great car, i just picked up my first 66 chrevelle, so im looking to do it all over, im looking at a sbc twin turbo, it will take me a yr or so, i hope it looks as good as yours!!!

the car looks great,really like the look, i want to go for that look also, but with power behind it, how is the traction with a 18 inch rim with a low profile tire like that?, do the make a good tire you can run 10,s with ??? makes me think you will just blaze the tires off the rim (that can be fun also)

That turned out way better then I imagined. I still think the front end needs to come down just a tad bit. It might be an optical illusion, but it looks like its a little bit higher than the rear. When I get mine back together(supposed to get it back this Monday), I'll have to cruise it down to your shop and we can park them next to eachother! That'd be an awesome picture.

The column is an Ididit tilt column. It was in the car when I bought it. We sell Flaming River, but both are good columns. Pedals are from Modo Innovations, and are bad ass. We sell a few of those too.
Wheels are 19" and 20" Rushforth's, and YES they make tires in those sizes you can 'hook-up' with, check out the new tire sizes from Nitto in the NT555R drag radials. Wilwood brakes were a huge improvement. I am very happy with them.
