Franks car is too pretty for steep gears like that... you gotta have a good old fashioned vinyl interior for easy cleanup after taking the unsuspecting originality restoration freaks out for trips around the block to remind them that a big block Chevelle can be used for more than polishing.... ;)

Got the windows in. Should have the door panels back on today. :hurray: The forecast is calling for some light snow showers mixed with rain this weekend. Chances are it wont amount to much so if the roads are dry, I will take you for a spin. I am going to try to drive it today or tomorrow but there is a large bit of snow that is icey and hard now. Still gonna try it. :yes: I am scared as I havent driven it in over 6 weeks, hope my engine is ok...

There is NO way my car should be faster, you have probably 75+hp on me.

better cam, 1.5+ points of compression, better heads. Unless your tune is way off I dont think I will think it is a pussy.....cat.

I think it has all to do with your 30" slicks, the 4000 stall, the transbrake, and the 4.11s!

Not on the street though, my 275/60/15s feel like a bike tires in all gears. Brett says he can get good traction, with a manual.

After running at monroe & Pacific last year with street tires, i'll never do it again. Car gets way too squirly.... And i'm probably 75-100hp less than you....

I have to agree with Ben on this one, street tires on the track is a losing proposition.

The trick is to put a one wheel wonder in there instead of your posi. It will spin straight ahead all the way to the stripe with the power you guys are playing with.:D

According to Darryl and also my 107MPH on street tires I lost about 1/2 second in the 1/4.
