I just got my repro window sticker for my 70 , it looks pretty good. I do have one question though. I got a note saying that the D88 option (stripes) were included with option ZL2 (cowl induction hood). Does this sound right to those of you who have your original window stickers for your 70 SS with stripes? Thanks Steve Johnson in Portland.

In 1972 They came standard w/ the Cowl Induction Hood. CI hood w/ White striping was ZL2/ZR8 and the CI hood w/ Black Striping was ZL2/YF8. I don't know for sure but I would guess that it would be the same for 70 also

After reading your previous post I ordered one for my car.I am very pleased with it!To answer your question,Yes ZL2 cowl induction did come standard with D88 stripes.This means that D88 wouldn't be on your sticker unless you had the basic SS hood and wanted the stripes.
