I just noticed this square hole on the underside of the dash of my 67, beside the brake release handle. It's about 1" square. Is it used for anything? Are the other holes beside it used for anything? Also, would anyone know what that blue wire in the photo goes to? (With the electrical tape on it)

I don't think that would be it. The 67 has the vent handle mounted right on the kick panel. On the below pic, you can see the part of the handle on the left side of photo. Wow, looking at these photos, my dash needs some serious work!

I think thats where the put the switch for the convertible top...:D

That square hole is where the power switch for the convertible top goes. That's where it's at on mine anyway...
I believe the wagons have a switch for the tailgate power window in that location too. I'm pretty sure the same dash was used in all the cars.
