i am having a problem with the power steering fluid cannister always going on empty right away and i dont know why. then i noticed that everytime i make a turn, power steering fluid drips from somewhere. i checked the hose and it is on tight. do you think it is the power steering pump that is bad??

Clean the whole power steering apparatus up at the quarter car wash; then have somebody crank the wheel all the way to one end of its travel and hold it there while you watch it.

I'd bet you have a pinhole in your pressure line, and the fluid is just spewing out. It's under as much as 7 or 800 psi in that line.

I have heard of them leaking on the gearbox also.
