Just curious how to change the power valve on my Speed Demon. I heard I have to take the primary fuel bowl off, but do I need to replace the gasket, even though the carb is new? Also is there one or two pwer valves in that carb?

Demons have reuseable bowl gaskets, so you shouldn't have any trouble removing the primary bowl to change the power valve (you only have one, BTW.) I was able to remove/reinstall mine about a dozen times until the gasket finally chunked/tore and I had to replace it. I replaced it with another reuseable gasket which is still holding up just fine.

I would suggest replacing the gasket anyway. I find that the (reusable) blue gaskets are far more user freindly than the red gaskets used by BG, especially if you are going to have the bowl/metering plate on and off repeatedly.

Just my 2 cents

Just my 2 cents Exactly.

The first thing I will do with any Demon carb I buy will be to get rid of those red gaskets and install the good Holley reusable ones.
