When I ground the oil wire by the engine the light on the dash doesn't light. I checked the bulb today and it works fine. What other things should I check to fix it?

check for power at the light socket and then check continuity from the light to the sender. Make sure the circuit is isolated before doing cont. check. (bulb out, wire disconnected at sender).

I got it. Removed the bulb again and tested for power. Good. I pushed the bulb in and wiggled it a bit and it started working. Thanks
